Terms of Service

By opening the booth or a download link you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy policy and Cookie policy explain how we handle information. If you do not agree, please do not use stripmem.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age at which you can consent to online services where you live, if that is higher. If you are younger, use stripmem only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Accounts are used only by our administrators. stripmem is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13; see our Privacy policy.

If you run a booth at an event, you are responsible for how it is used there, including by minors. Every guest is asked to confirm they are 13 or older before starting, unless the device was set to not ask again, in which case the person operating the booth is responsible for who uses it. Children under 13 are not allowed to start the booth. The answer is stored only on the device and is never sent to us. You must obtain any consent or parental permission that the law or the venue requires before people are photographed or use the booth, and you must not run it anywhere it is unlawful to photograph people.

stripmem is free. The booth combines your shots into a photo strip on your device. Only the finished strip is uploaded, temporarily, so you can save it to your phone. Download links expire after 15 minutes, and the uploaded copy is then permanently deleted within 48 hours (usually much sooner while the booth is in use). There is no permanent gallery.

Save your strip promptly. Uploads can fail and photos can be lost or deleted before you save them. We do not keep backups of photos, and once a photo is deleted we cannot recover it.

We may change, limit, suspend or stop all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

You own your photos and strips. You give us only a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process and store them as needed to create the strip, deliver it to you and then delete it. We do not claim ownership of your photos, and we do not use them for advertising, to train AI models, or for any other purpose.

You are responsible for the photos you take and share, and for having the right to take them.

• Do not use stripmem for anything illegal or to create unlawful, abusive or infringing content.
• Do not photograph people without their consent, or use the booth to harass, bully or embarrass anyone.
• Do not disrupt, probe, overload or try to break the service, or try to access other people's strips.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, stripmem is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that photos will be uploaded, delivered or kept for any length of time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost photos or data, arising from your use of stripmem. Because the service is free, our total liability for all claims relating to stripmem is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some places do not allow certain limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law, if someone makes a claim against us because of content you captured or shared with stripmem, or because you broke these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

We may suspend or end anyone's access at any time, for example if they break these Terms or put the service or other people at risk. You can stop using stripmem at any time. The sections on your photos, no warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and general terms continue to apply after you stop.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using stripmem after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using stripmem.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms, that is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy policy and Cookie policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about stripmem.
